Phase 1 Discovery Design

The discovery architecture for the pathway initiative: how information is gathered, filtered, and converted into design decisions.

The problem

Discovery conversations produced a large volume of opinion and very little that could be designed against.

What I designed

A funnel that moves deliberately from broad organizational context to function-level constraints to a small set of decisions, with each stage having its own instrument and exit criteria.

How to use the discovery template

The discovery workflow and the full template section index — the repeatable instrument, shown blank. Anonymized work sample — a real page from the source document, with organization-identifying detail removed from the published image.

Organizational Learning Pathways

A connected set of analysis and design artifacts used to map how learning actually moves through an organization: phased pathway topology, discovery design, the question architecture behind it, and the department-function map it produced.
